| Re: Connect Festival 2008 The awful camping and car park at Connect were made up for last year by how unique the festival was, compared to the other UK ones. Now, after poor ticket sales, they've tried to attract the TITP crowd and forgotten about being unique. It's TITP-lite in a more remote place and at a time of year when it's colder and far more likely to pour with rain.
One thing that definitely won't help is that Manic Street Preachers and Kasabian were headlining stages at other, more established, festivals last week (Reading/Leeds and Creamfields). Shame really, after last year I really wanted the festival to do well. |
