One of my Dad's cousins is a humanist 'minister' (not sure what the correct term is) but she apparently makes a fortune doing humanist burials, christenings, weddings and so on.
The idea that people are making large sums of money off people's religious beliefs is enough to put me off the organised movement.
But then I abhor organised religion at the best of times. |
