so i was having some fun jamming with mlr and monome today and made a kind of pastiche hip-hop track.

the drums were made with midiNES (layered with some other samples), the 303 bass sound (i know its high in the mix but its just a jam) is from prophet64, the lead sounds are midiNES layered with quadrasid, the string samples are from a henry mancini track and the acapellas are from the beastie boys.
