yes, like a tank. i regard them as quite unusual. don't think i've ever seen one!
actually that's not quite true. a guy who lived near me had some dispute with his local police station, something to do with parking i think. so he bought a tank (!) and parked it JUST outside of the zig-zags outside of the police station, with a 30 foot high papier mache statue of a pig in full bobby uniform sitting on the top. this was about 1990 and google suggests that the internet doesn't seem to have recorded the event sadly.
still, tanks aren't commonplace in glasgow city centre.
