When you deface the ballot paper, you think: "This will show them that I disagree with all of them and that the political process has failed me"
What actually happens: They count spoilt papers as one stat, and you're lumped in with people who thought it'd be funny (or worse, genuinely thought it a good idea) to add Henrik Larsson's name to the ballot paper and vote for him. |
