| Re: Hibernian - Con-artists? What exactly do you mean by a Walter Mitty?
The big sales have been as far as I can remember have been Brown (£4.3m and decent value), Thomson (£2m - steal ), Whittaker (£2m, robbery ), O'Connor (£1.6m about right ), Sproule (£500k fair) and Murphy (~£1.2m going rate) and Riordan for a few hundred grand. That's not much over £11m over 3 or 4 seasons, good income for an SPL side but not enough to break through to the proverbial next level.
Don't forget they've built a training facility, upped their annual salary and they have also reined in their their debt so while they haven't been paying out anything like what they brought in in transfer fees (except for Riordan) it's a bit unfair to say not a penny has been spent.
ps Caldwell and Killen were Bosmans.
