It's happening with Fletcher aswell being touted for 4 & 5 million.

Don't forget they've built a training facility, upped their annual salary and they have also reined in their their debt so while they haven't been paying out anything like what they brought in in transfer fees (except for Riordan) it's a bit unfair to say not a penny has been spent.

Brown - not a 4.4million pound player...maybe in time, who knows.
Murphy - 1.2/5 million - one of the worst players at St Andrews.
Riordan - 1 million - worth about 2 bob.
Whittaker - couple of million, he is a dogs dinner.
Thomson - 2 million, best value out of the lot, but still not worth 2m, IMO.
O'Connor - nearly 2 million, Donkey. Went AWOL and couldn't score in a barrel of fannies. Worthless.
Now it's Fletcher - 4/5 million - lol.
The guys a fleecing bastard. Not one player has lived up to their price tag as yet IMO. That includes Thomson.
