They've finished 6th in the past 2 seasons because they've sold many players over them last 2/3 seasons. You don't seem to understand that these things take time... awaiting players coming through the youth ranks, etc. It's a by-product of eliminating debt.
In case you haven't realised... the majority of clubs in the SPL are selling clubs. That's what small teams have to do to survive. The fans would love for all the top players to stay and build a team worth challenging for more honours. It's just not financially feasible.
And the League Cup statement applies to every team out-with the Old Firm.
