Glasgow West End Metal-Fest 5th March

Most metal fans in Glasgow are wankers it has to be said, quick to criticize never wanting to lend their support. What’s the point in some local gig Jamie fucking Oliver’s school dinners is on the telly the night, it’s a load of shite. I hope this gig tomorrow is a huge success and is full right up to closing time, and no one can complain because they are being offered one of the best nights of metal they will probable see in Glasgow this year. These kinds of gigs are tremendous opportunities for Glasgow to get more recognition and receive a lot more coverage, which in turn would do local bands good and make an underground metal fan very fucking happy. Hey thought I would voice my opinion.

Top class night chaps! Fair enjoyed myself, prob one of the best gigs I've played due to everything just being braw.

That 15 minute instrumental was a belter, nice one lads. NGT were a bit gash really tho what Dyno says is true.
Achren were boss as fuck, some guy try to brawl with me even tho i jsut wanted to enjoy the show but he ended up on his arse so wheyhey the lads!
Manegarm were also quality, the violin guys hairdo was amazing, shite tyhey had to finish early but they finished on I Evil Tid so no complaints really, overall a belter and for a fiver? FUCKEN RIGHT MAN

aye, night went really well- we'll hopefully be puttin on some more gigs there later in the year (also playin there on 2nd April supporting Iconoclasm).
Fair enough the drink is expensive (that doesn't subsidise band drinks gav you stirrer- that's from my pocket! heheh), but it's only for gigs & in that case isn't much different from the likes of the cathouse, the barras, the academy or the secc...
btw how good are Manegarm? listenin to Dodsfard the now- class!
any suggestions for other bands to try & get over are welcome.

what about getting Conquest of Steel up - i know one drum tech who'd love to see them as he was otherwise engaged when they played in leeds... and are wiseguys gettin Gerotted? whose gonna support them??

Vader, Yattering, Malevolant creation. Immolation, Aborted, Cryptopsy, Opeth would all be amazing in there, thats off the top of my head
