just had a quick swatch. 13th note has nothing on in the venue but something on in the cafe/bar so possibility. barrowlands 2. had a gig booked but got changed to another venue apparently. its a good wee bar/venue and the capacity is good. rockers also has no listing but that place is a shithole.

from what i recall from a birthday party in o's the capacity cant be much more than 50 or so, aye?

if this does end up being the last alpacinos gig that would be a fucking horrible shame. because that could be filled from mates alone because of what it actually is.

i know its been said, but if this gigs ends up being in o's you guys should do a proper farewell gig. YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELVES. sorry! but aye you should.

rockers is shite, il agree. but its the cheapness and capacity i was thinking of. barras 2 aye tuts or there abouts. slightly more id say-i cant remember a figure offhand. but i was just looking for venues with no listings.

and aye i just double checked the note and i was reading sundays when it said only something in the cafe.

As soon as we heard the first thing we did was look at possibly doing it somewhere else, but there's really nothing available and viable. Hence the constant dire warnings to anyone who'll listen, because we know we're going to have to turn away friends, and friends of the band, and while the gig is going to be amazing, we're not looking forward to that aspect of it one little bit.
