| Reported Posts Due to recent situation with Reported posts I've made some changes to the way it works.
1. The only people with access to reported posts are supermods and me. Previously Editors also had access because they were basically supermods but I've seperated this now so only those listed specifically as supermods have access. Woolies currently doesn't have access either but as he's basically an admin he can get access if he wishes.
2. You'll now be able to see reports which you have made and see the discussion about them. You won't see other users reports just your own. This should help solve the issue of being informed of whats being done about your report and also allow for you give more info if required.
I hope these changes help remove any worries people may have about reporting things.

| Re: Reported Posts I'll add two points: First: yup, a good change for the Reportee being able to see any discussion resulting from their report. Second: Unfortnately if you aren't the first person to report a post then you won't see the discussion thread. There is no easy solution to this sorry. Third: Moderators will have to change behaviour slightly so that reports are replied to and then left unresolved for a time so that the reportee has the benefit of the feedback. I don't forsee that being a problem. |

No-one looked at reported posts, no-one visited any private areas, all Justine did was rep a bunch of people from my account, uploaded some photos and started that "phone les" thread.

If the same post is reported by a second/third/etc person it's added as a post to the already existing thread, meaning subsequent reports won't be seen by reg members |

| Re: Reported Posts It's not often (except with spam, maybe) that posts are reported more than once, yesterday when hide reported a post and so did hide was a rarity; we can keep people advised / included using PMs.
For all the lengthy threads that this kinda situation throws up, the drama is usually a bigger deal than the actual problem
