8 Years is a long time and things change a lot.
We've went from a small internet site about a club we all enjoyed to Inyourcity days to being Altnation covering lots of different topic and clubs.
Finally we came full circle and we have our own club nights and Night club. We still cover nearly everything, along with any clubs that want our support such as the boys at Pangea, SIN and Rev.
Unfortunately though it's reached a point where the Cathouse feel that having a dedicated forum on here isn't in there interests and I have to agree with them that at this time the atmosphere isn't perhaps the best and as such I've agree to remove the forum.
All the posts will be moved over the next few days to clubbing chat and I'll be removing the Cathouse closing thread as it's just fuelling arguments and being used for rather personal attacks at the moment which neither me not the Cathouse want. If anyone has any personal axes to grind with the cathouse or CPL in any form please don't use AN as a vehicle for this. I'd suggest talking directly to them.
Finallyyou'll still be able to chat about the cathouse in clubbing chat there just won't be a dedicated forum any more and hopefully this will reduce the generally negative vibe that's going about at the moment.

Gotta do what ye gotta do. It's weird how much the Glasgow "scene" has changed over the last five years. I mean, with the greatest respect to the Cathouse, as i've had some of the best nights out in there in my life, but who would have imagined that Alt Nation would have had its own nightclub and two other nights in two different clubs, five years ago?
The Cathouse missed out on having its on forum an awful lot.
