It's only spam we don't want nofollowed, and we kill that on sight anyhow. |

I'll look at it post-move if nobody else does; I think it's a setting buried in vB somewhere that's switched on by default, but I could be wrong. |

But I'm done with SEO now and look forward to starting my new CSS job on Monday. |

MAkes a fair point about gig ticket links but personally I'd go with the spirit of "remove all ads for sponsors" though. And that's not just because it was my oversight that added the amazon ads for everyone... Quote:

& rel nofollow is useful for getting spiders to not list bumph pages such as the "email to friend" things and the like that are still shown to guests, no? |

Having nofollow on internal links doesn't really make any sense at all; we already detect spiders, best off just hiding the chaff from them (within the normal acceptable boundaries of spider-specific content serving). |

I just hadn't noticed them before. You could always do an Xbox Live Arcade * and charge us more money to remove the Amazon ads *I refer particularly to Lumines for Xbox, where you have to pay for the incomplete game and then pay more for additional game features which are standard on PSP versions of the game. |
