Like many have said. They have to draw the line someone where. Its just unlucky | Not quite, SAAS still covers your fees if you repeat first year. I wasn't really complaining, just pointing out a quirk of the system. It'll be a long while before I have to start paying it back anyway. |

| Re: Do you think it is fair about graduate endowmen fees? When I went to Uni, both times, it was FREE! And...I even got a full grant the first time round, and my non-means tested bursary the second time! I had never been so well off! |

| Re: Do you think it is fair about graduate endowmen fees? I think the SNP want to return the system to the old 'grants and no fees' one, but given the level of mickey mouse courses people go on these days it would quickly bankrupt the country. I suspect no fees but still very limited grants will end up being the happy medium for the foreseeable future.

And seriously, in a country where anyone can propose a bill to the Scottish Parliament, the best form of political protest that you can come up with is a Facebook group? E-petition to the Parliament FTW. |
Slightly aggressive response no?! Was that necessary?!
Moaning about things is completely understandable, and given that this forum is for Alumni, I don't think it's unreasonable that Ben was looking for a bit of solidarity here, or at least a sympathetic ear!
I too think it sucks baws that we have to pay graduate endowments, but I do agree that there has to be a cut off point sometime, and we were just unlucky!
