Having just spoke with keith, he said if it comes down to it he'd drive. So i stiull say we leave early sat morn, call it about 5am and then drive straight down to Hull, taking stops as we go along. That should get us to Hull for about 10 i estimate. We can then leave Speeds car at Josh's house and then all travel up to the gig in the executive! Besides as keith said, we'l have shit loads of drink to return to after the gig to get pished! Im defo taking a crate of tennents with me! Helli would cement his place as an Amok legend forever by doin this and his reward for it would be gettin in the 20 region at Josh's house later that night!

The plan regarding the Travelodge is much smarter. If we leave Friday around 2-3 we can arrive at the travelodge around 6-7, which is 4 miles away from wakefield, then get a taxi into wakefield and go to the pub for a few hours. Stay Friday night, wake up whenever, goto the gig then back to the travelodge saturday night. Leave Sunday.

Its better because:
a) me and keef wont need to do a manky drive at 6am on Saturday
b) we can chill out on Saturday and get ready to play a gig. not trying to stay awake to get through it
c) we can have a mini-holiday and get drunk
d) it'll cost the same as going to Hull which is completely out of the way and will add about an hour/hour and a half to the trip

i checked the travelodge and will cost everyone £25 for the 2 nights. That and petrol wont cost that much and is a lot more convenient
