I met him after the gig they played in the Glasgow Mayfair (now The Garage) on the Human tour, the whole band and crew and all the supports came down to the Cathouse after the gig as we were holding the aftershow party, my friend was dj'ing playing a mix of thrash and death metal, then the tour manager came up and asked if we had any Kiss my mate pointed at me and said he will have, so they shouted me over and asked what I had with me, being a bit of a Kiss fan I replied 'just about everything' so the night ended up as a Kiss fest, this pissed off alot of the Death fans that were in and they all left so we closed the doors and justplayed Kiss albums until the early hours, that's when i got talking to Chuck I gave him a uk edition of Alive II on red vinyl which was never released in the US, we exchanged addresses, I didn't expect him to get in touch but he did and we kept in touch through mail, then e-mail and continued to swap Kiss stuff.

Nope I don't think I have that one, I might still have the Mayfair gig though, but I think it's just audio.

hahahaha that was funny, almost as funny as the guy who came in just after you wearing a Venom t-shirt and asked for Venom, Cronos shouted tell him they are shite and you aren't playing them, the guy heard this and started shouting abuse at Cronos, he didn't recognise him at all until I asked if he was a big fan, he said aye, I pulled out Black Metal and said do you have this, of course he replied, then I opened it and showed him the pic of the band and pointed at the chuckling Cronos, the guy near died on the spot and admitted he had only downloaded it

Shame! thats the gig me and jonny jumped off the massive stacks. Did the same at
Sacred Reich during the Atrophy set. had some great gigs there. Kreator was an awesome gig too. |

There were some classic gigs staged in there for a wee while. Were you on the bus that went down to the Celtic Frost, Kreator, Virus gig in Newcastle?

Na!! my mum wouldn't let me go  ..but i did go to Grindcrusher at the Carlton in Edinburgh The Napalm death Morbid Angel, Bolthrower gig, that was classic. I mind seeing Paradise Lost at the burgh Venue, and Kev (mind him)signing Autographs in the bog cos people thought he was in the band... |
