Attica Rage have parted ways with lead guitarist Changer, due to differences in personal aspirations regarding the future of the band. We would like to thank him for having been a part of the band since January 2005 and for his contribution and kick-ass guitar shredding over the last year. The search is now on for a new lead guitarist for this next chapter of the band!
There has been good interest so far but we are keen to hear from any lead guitarists based in central Scotland who are up for the challenge!
We'll consider almost anyone but there are some basic essential requirements:
- Competent in fast, shredding solos as well as tight, chunky rhythm
- Good quality gear including amp & cabinet suitable for big venues
- Over 18 years old
- Available for rehearsals in Glasgow city centre every Saturday 3pm-6pm
- Confident, experienced live performer
Aside from that, owning your own transport (or having access to) would be preferable for gigs further a field (London, Dundee and Wakefield are already booked for later this year!)
Your influences aren't really important but anywhere along the lines of Dimebag/Zakk Wylde/Randy Rhodes/Dave Mustaine etc would be cool.
One of the most important things were looking for is long-term commitment and a hunger for the big time! After the release of our debut album later this year, we'll be pushing forwards and upwards and need to be ready for any breaks that come our way.
