Introducing new Lead Guitarist........Shaun Nelson!

ATTICA RAGE are pleased to announce our new lead guitarist is Mr Shaun Nelson!

Following the band's decision in July to replace former guitarist Changer, Shaun joins in time for the recording of Attica Rage's debut album and rehearsals have begun for the UK live dates confirmed for later in the year.

Previously a core member of fellow Scottish metallers SYTH, Shaun has won several guitarist awards and competitions including 'Guitar Heroes' and 'Best Guitarist' at the Emergenza Scottish Finals 2005.

We are pleased to have Shaun aboard for this new chapter of Attica Rage history. We're getting on with the album and will be working on a new live set....with Shaun now in the band, we are ready to get back to business again!

Shaun's first two live appearances with the band will be at the Cathouse, Glasgow on Sunday 24th September and on Friday 29th September at Rockers, Glasgow (with 15 TIMES DEAD and, by sheer coincidence, his old band-mates SYTH!). We wanna see you all down the front for these gigs and giving him your support!

We've just started recording the drum tracks for our album and Shaun will be laying down his mighty shred licks all over the place on it so we'll keep you posted on the release date etc. Or you can come along to his debut gigs at the Catty (with Viking Skull) or Rockers (with 15 Times Dead and Syth!) at the end of September and catch him live in action.
