ATTICA RAGE CONFIRMED FOR METAL CAMP 2008!

WE DID IT .......YOU DID IT!!!

As you may remember back in January, Attica Rage had been shortlisted on METAL CAMP 2008 festival’s fan voting poll amongst 1200 unsigned/independent bands from 60 countries worldwide and we were urging you all to cast your votes for us. Well we are extremely pleased to announce that ATTICA RAGE has successfully been offered a slot and can confirm we will now be performing at METAL CAMP 2008 in Slovenia in July!

We want to thank each and every one of you who took the time to vote. We are so grateful and overwhelmed by the incredible amount of support we’ve received from our friends and fans across the globe. A big thanks also to Tom Russell at 96.3 Rock Radio and everyone on AltNation.com for their support too!

A stellar line-up of metal bands – modern and classic alike – has been confirmed for METAL CAMP this year including headliners IN FLAMES, APOCALYPTICA, MINISTRY, MORBID ANGEL and ARCH ENEMY along with legendary bands such as ICED EARTH, HELLOWEEN, OPETH, CELTIC FROST, SOILWORK, WINTERSUN, KORPLIKAANI, MESHUGGAH, FINTROLL, EVERYGREY, ONSLAUGHT, BIOMECHANICAL, SIX FEET UNDER and many, many more! METAL CAMP 2008 open-air festival, dubbed “Hell Over Paradise”, is held between 4th and 8th July and is celebrating it’s 5th anniversary this year. The festival grounds are set in the beautiful Julisch Alps national park in Tolmin, Slovenia, situated on a peninsula between the turquoise mountain rivers Socca and Tolminka. Aside from the main stage, there is a 2nd stage (where Attica will be perfoming!), campsites, a metal market and a beautiful beach complete with beach bar playing rock & metal tunes all day! A headbanger’s holiday paradise!
