Attica Rage are filming a promo video for the song ’Dark City’ that’s gonna be the lead single from the new album and we’re looking for a motley bunch of moshers - male & female - to come along, bang some heads, shake some rock n’ roll booty and add a bit of colour and chaos to the video.
It’s being filmed on the night of Saturday 19th April in a Glasgow city centre studio. We’ll have been filming earlier but will be bringing in the crowd around 11pm/midnight for about an hour of filming....so there’ll be plenty opportunity to get a few alcoholic refreshments in the pub beforehand and loosen up for a burst of some old-school moshin’ action! We’ll be playing the song live (either along with or without the recorded version of the track...depends if we can stick to the same tempo!
. All you need to do is bang yer head, shake yer ass, jump around and generally go fu&kin crazeeeee!
Invites are limited and priority will be given to our friends and fans from the local Glasgow/Ayrshire area that we know already. So if we already know you and you fancy coming along and being in the video, send us a message and we’ll get back to you. The only rules are (1) everyone has to go absolutely mental ...and (2) without wrecking the studio in the process! Controlled chaos!
The video is being directed by award-winning Glasgow-based director Rodger Griffiths and will be used to promote the first single. The video will be uploaded on YouTube, MySpace and other websites as well as sent to metal video podcasts around the world. It will also be submitted to various TV stations like Kerrang TV, MTV, Scuzz, Rockworld etc. So, obviously, whoever appears in the video is gonna be seen by potentially millions throughout the globe. (
