Other than add another acoustic and pisspoor harmonies to the mix.
I'm so picking up a banjo next week though when I get paid. |

What day's suit you for practices? |

KIDDING. I Patti.
I should have probably learned how to play slide at some point in my life before now, it would have been quite handy.
I work 9-5 Monday to Friday in Glasgow city centre. |

Anyways, i also work 9-5, so does my accordian player. My flat is in Paisley (near the airport), so I'm thinking a Thursday evening or during the day on a Saturday (the girlfriend will be at work). |

Oh and I can play guitar but somebody's snapped that up. | Hey there, normally on my songs I handle harmonica, but recently I've had a guy put harmonica on my tunes. He though lives in Manchester, have a listen to my song called NEver took the time, and if you can play the harminica line on it, you're in! The song is at www.myspace.com/davehughesmusic Update
Still looking for a drummer (watched an old pogues video, and looking for a snare and floor tom only thing! maybe a cymbal?)
The girl who sings backing on my tracks is up for giving backing vocals.
Just waiting to hear from the accordian player as to when he is free. |

| Re: Renegade Jug Band I hit the guitar shops yesterday but the cheapest guitjo they had was £140 and I just started a new job/have debts to settle/Bruce gig to pay for etc. Bah. Ebay time.
In completely unrelated news, I went to see a mate of a mate play an acoustic show last night and talked him into doing 'Matamoros Banks', you could have heard a fucking pin drop, a couple of people looked genuinely uncomfortable at the lyrics. Brilliant. |

| Re: Renegade Jug Band I've only been to one gig where a Bruce Cover was played, and that was Dancing in the Dark. I would kill to hear a rarity.
London 30th May aparrantly at Arsenal's grounds. Oh, and 3 nights in Dublin just before that. Glasgow is a very strong rumour apparently
Shit, this isn't the Magic thread....
Get ebaying! |

| Re: Renegade Jug Band I like the guy's banter a lot so I always go to his wee gigs when there's an opportunity but the music is a wee bit too Damien Rice for me, so it was cool to hear him do something harsh as fuck and because he's one of those cunts who can actually play guitar he was doing all the lovely spanish guitar fills and shit as well. Actually, now I think about it, I hate that guy. Quote:
