| Bassist looking for band
Hi guys,
My name is Matt and I'm a competant bassist who is looking for a new band in the Glasgow area.
My influences and what I'm looking for in a band vary but I'll try and keep it simple.
My influences - anything and everything really from Blink-182 to Duran Duran to Korn to the local band slogging it out trying to get somewhere.
Band influences and what style of band I'd like to play in - Something that's timeless.No nintendocore or screamo or whatever is cool at the minute. A band that's quite poppy sounding but with a deeper/darker undercurrent. A band who can fit on many bills because although I may not want to be in a screamo band, I still enjoy watchin them play, just as I do watching indie bands to.
Biffy Clyro, Idlewild, Glassjaw, think:Fire, Twin Atlantic, Kids In Glass Houses...something like that.
I have other beneficial factors outiwth being a bassist. Just ask for details.
What I've written is maybe over detailed but I hope it helps anyone who may be interested in having me as their bassist.
