| A call to all metal drummers! Stop trying to be in Machine Head and Pantera and join Bealltainn!
You might end up, like you know, getting some credibility! |

| Re: A call to all metal drummers! Record the guitars in a huge biscuit tin?
Sometimes i don't get the whole black metal thing, i enjoy the music but i don't see why the music always has to sound shit. You can make a decent sounding song with free software and a cheap ass sound card, or use an Mbox 2 which ive got.

| Re: A call to all metal drummers! It only sounds shit if you are comparing it to mainstream metal, it wouldn't have the same effect if it sounded like Pantera, its meant to sound like the eternal war!
It's not just BM that isn't produced like that, the best death metal, hardcore, hip-hop, whatever doesn't sound like it was polished of all soul in Pro Tools.
Perhaps ironically, all we do use to record is Pro Tools and an MBox. |

| Re: A call to all metal drummers! Fuck fidelity, it impedes the soul. Would 36 Chambers sound any better if it was quantized and autotuned to fuck?

You might end up, like you know, getting some credibility! | the thing that bugs me about bands that cite those influences, is that they all end up making crap thrash instead of writing brutal groove riffs.
