We are looking to start a band, more similar to that of We Are Rock Star i think.
Either way, we need a guitarist and a bass player.
The guitarist must be very, very good with the ability to write good songs. They must already have songs written that they wish to play in a band. I don't understand why any guitarist would play guitar and then come to the point of meeting a band and saying "I don't have any songs" How is this possible? So, bring your songs along.. I will add drums to them, Peter will add vocals and we will make the song work as a band. That is how i see this working. The bass player will also add his or her style to it... we don't have one yet though, that is why we seek one of those too.
Bass Players.. you need to be good.. very good. This will be a great band with very ambitious members who want to succeed. I have experience in booking gigs all over the country and the singer is so commited he moved to Glasgow with his last band to try and succeed. Shit happens though and so he is ready to start again. It must be great though. So, you must be able to keep in time with the drummer perfectly. And you must love playing the bass.
So... If you are interested PM me. This will be great... we're looking to practice in Ayr but will frequent Glasgow when gigging and will do everything possible to succeed.
Don't worry if you think you'll sound big headed.. tell me if you are good. Its the only way we can find people who are good without meeting a million guitarists and telling them they suck.
