I think metal.
But it depends what kind of metal.
I can't stand rap metal at all.
Black metal has it's moments
Most nu-metal is crap but theres the occasionaly good band
Death metal is all pretty decent.

I dont go by genres really, cause you inevitably include bands that are shite, or dont give credit to the great bands.
Metal is shite these days, I cannot say that often enough, total shite.
Punk is where its at it seems, although let me listen to pop punk, and i'll kill you soon after.
Industrial, probably falls under the metal banner.. its the only genre I can say I like more than all the others...

| all music is good in its own way it just depends what mood your in when listening to it. When drunk or whatever its good to listen to punk music cos it makes u want to jump about like a pure cheb, but when u want somethin more agressive to headbang to then metal is the best thing for it. Old skool and death metal are best though, none of the poppy stuff - u need a bit of guitar soloing n that! | |

Confused ? I am... | True enough, but if you go by 'which genre do most bands I like usually get placed in', it's punk by a mile.
I did a quick count the other day - cool, I know - and of the 120 albums I have proper storage for (the rest are in several dangerous looking towers...), 62 were 'unarguably' punk without another 20 or so you could argue the toss about... so, punk!  | |
