| Re: Bands you're embarrassed to admit you like The Ordinary Boys, I can't explain it at all. The first album was good, the second so-so and now they're media bastards. |

It's from that era where cartoon were made up of dancing soap bars and stuff. I'm trying to find info on it the now but it's proving most difficult.

I am not ashamed of Deacon Blue, Beautiful South and some others that escape me...

| Re: Bands you're embarrassed to admit you like I've also got quite a soft spot for Catatonia.
Also, the Aladin soundtrack is beastly, Christie. Still not as good as Dumbo though.

| Re: Bands you're embarrassed to admit you like Aye, I'm digging girls aloud.
I'm mildly ashamed to say I like a lot of sub-standard indie bands with mildly catchy tunes, like Kaiser chiefs, Artic Monkeys, the Automatic, etc. A throwback to my late teenage indie years.
I like some outrageously camp stuff though, like Belinda Carlisle. |

I'm not embarrassed per se by any of the music I listen to...but I do take pelters for owning Darius's album and still loving the song Rushes. The strings on it are fab.
Also, my collection of Bonkers albums gets me a bit of a ripping as does my penchant for preferring artists with names like Charlie Lownoise and Mental Theo. |

MCR, FOB and such like are genuinely amazing and I have no shame in liking them
