I'm not embarrassed by anything I like I don't think.
There's a context element; I wouldn't sit at home listening to ABBA but it's great music for being drunk to, and is well put together. There's loads of perfectly legitimate reasons to like music beyond "it's the best song ever written."
If someone burst in and handed me a billion dollars while the workies' radio outside was playing The Cheeky Girls, I'd probably develop an attachment to their music!

I like some of this "Scene" stuff in Glasgow like Passion Beyond Reason. Usually get ripped into from mates since supposedly it's shite but it's good to pit/take the piss to. And some Pantera, pre Cowboys but.
