I was wondering what the folk camping outside HMV were waiting for …

… as I thought it was a litle early to be seeing fanatics hanging on for the Arctic Monkeys album launch next week.

Turns out they’re out there today queuing to see an instore by Hanson.

Hanson?

I’m sure the big turnout is just down to it being the Easter holidays. Most of the crowd looked school age to me.

That's even more confusing, they'd be far too young to remember them!

(think the schools are back now btw).

Oh fuck. :/ My girl clearly didn't know about this since she's texted saying she's babysitting and can't meet me 'til 7pm. Do I text her to let her know she's missing out..?

Maybe, after dropping out of the public eye all those years ago, Hanson lived out their collective fantasy of using the band’s happy-go-lucky pop tunes as a front for sinister mind control antics. Maybe these obsessive fans are all cults cult followers.
