| Re: Bruce Springsteen - Magic Yeah, "I'll work for your love" has a classic Bittan piano intro, when I first heard it I understood what "Steel Mill Retro" from BTX was meaning when he said it would hark back to Born To Run and the River. Then the song goes in to an almost Dylan melody |

| Re: Bruce Springsteen - Magic Looks like Posh may get his Candy's Room, in the form of a couplet with She's the one. The set list last night at the final rehearsal show was:
Radio Nowhere
The Ties That Bind
Lonesome Day
Gypsy Biker
Magic
Candy's Room
She's the One
Livin' in the Future
The Promised Land
Town Called Heartbreak
Reason to Believe
Darlington County
Born in the U.S.A.
Devil's Arcade
The Rising
Last to Die
Long Walk Home
Badlands
* * *
Waitin' on a Sunny Day
Thundercrack
Born to Run
American Land
I'd better get a Ties that bind or a No Surrender! |

| Re: Bruce Springsteen - Magic Listening to a fairly good quality bootleg of Madison Square Garden 18th October just now. Blown the fuck away. The build-up to the chorus of 'Candy's Room' is insane! Anyone who wants a link PM meh. |

| Re: Bruce Springsteen - Magic Yeah, that is a good boot. I had Philly NIght 2 playing for quite a while. Although, the best thing I've heard so far is Chigago Night 2. Thunder Road was played in place of Girls in their summer clothes by request, played as if it was the 1980 tour, no twang in his voice. That meant the encore was Thunder Road, Born to Run, Dancing in the Dark and American Land, which in my opinion is brilliant! I think he should go back to the main set, first encore, second encore setup. That way he could do Girls in their summer clothes and Thundercrak during the first encore with a 'wild card' song such as Roullette, I'm a Rocker or even Sandy, then use the encore I mentioned before to really bring it home.
Can't fucking wait for London. |
