I'd love to know which underground scene he's a legend in. Pretty much everything before the Slim Shady EP was just him pretending to be Nas, he did up his game excellently after that, but the guy has no ear for a beat these days. But aye, I can't think of any underground scene that would hold Eminem as a legend. The Detroit sound (Slum Village, Jay Dilla RIP, even Q-Tip rocked a few post-Tribe sessions in Motown) is so far displaced from him (even when he was coming up, he was never part of Detroit's sound). There's also hunners of white rappers who are just straight up better than him, so his race has never really been an issue.
He did murder Jay-Z on his own shit though.
