I was at work so I shouldn't even have been taking the time to reply at all

But I didn't really feel the need to check seeing as there's already a discussion about the removal of the download earlier in this thread. Man, see those people who have the time to reply to a thread but not to read the whole thing

Sometimes someone else's word can be correct. In this case the word is "Soulseek", and the meaning is "I've managed to download the new Radiohead album the same as everyone else did". Is there some kind of nobility in getting it direct from their site that the P2P downloaders are missing out on, regardless of whether or not they'll buy the album?

In short: WAH, LEAVE ME ALONE!

In fact it has come out that they made more from this album than from all the others combined.

I believe that's a misquote - they've made more in online sales from this record than they have from online sales of all the other albums combined but that's not saying much as their EMI contract barely acknowledges online sales.

We all know you begrudge them that 50p card transaction fee

Re: Radiohead - In Rainbows

I think it's amazing that buying 'OK Computer' from ITunes nets the band practically fuck all.

Yeah makes you wonder why bother. Come to think of it, In Rainbows is the only song/album that I have ever bought electronically.

I have read it all.

I was responding to the phrase "That was what i'd heard anyway", not "so it already says in this thread".

Don't cry, ask Posh for one of his patented special hugs.

I've never bought an album electronically, but that is just because i don't have the capability to buy anything online at all (except from people who'll accept cheque or postal order).

Re: Radiohead - In Rainbows

ok this is late but as the mayor of musictown i hearby declare in rainbows to be their best albujm since the bends maybe it's something to do with the way they recorded it live and suddenly realised they are an amazing band, maybe it's just they guitar players are so deep and tuneful gimme a spoonfull please, maybe it's the drummer who i don't know what drums are meant to do but they sound always off the beat, maybe it's his lyrics which i never even listen to, maybe it's track 5 and charlie mingus's ghost floating between the speakers and everyones's ears, maybe means nothing, this album mekes beauty make sense

Re: Radiohead - In Rainbows

I'd say it's the best album since 'Kid A'.

It is fucking good though. I only just heard the bonus disc that's in the box set and that's damn good too.
