Bonus disc from the limited edition had the best tunes.
The Indelicates = Debut of the year, no question. Devastating lyrics.
HS6 = Not released yet
Eve 6 = Not released yet
Local H = Top stuff. Only one or two duffers on a 12-track record. First concept album to actually be decent in ages.
GLC = Didn’t pick this up yet. Got dropped by their label, released it indie instead.

| Re: Album anticipation 2008 Nada Surf and Weezer were the only two I was looking forward to this year.
Nada Surf have a lot of ground to cover to compete. |

| Re: Album anticipation 2008 I was really disappointed with the last Nada Surf album. Let Go and Proximity Effect are great albums... heard a couple tracks off the new one but not impressed on the whole.
I am, however, looking forward to Okkervil Rivers follow up / second part of the Stage Names LP. If it's half as good as the first I'll be well happy.

| Re: Album anticipation 2008 Oasis, Slipknot and Deftones. I'll be anticipating the GNR (!!??!??!) and Metallica albums for LOLs. I think the Slipknot, Oasis and Deftones albums will produce unintentional LOLs unfortunately.
Oh aye, as Lev said, the new Boxcutter!

Hope it's as good as you say, I love the songs I've heard (bought "Sixteen" off itunes) so reckon they can't go too far wrong!
