| Karma Noir - "Sick in my way" 2008 Karma Noir is an Israeli rock band, formed at the end of 2006 in Tel Aviv. The band's music style could be described as a combination of gothic rock and rap core, with electronic, Opera and oriental influences.
The bands started working on material for an album on late 2006. The band then consisted of the brothers Raz and Nizan Klinghoffer together with co-writers Iris Weismann and Avi Shabat. The plan was to go for a melodic rock and rapcore group. It wasn't until Kathy Ben-Haroush arrival on the beginning of 2007, that the music started taking its current sound with kathy as lead singer and Co-writer of the majority of the songs in the Album. Kathy who was classically trained at the Israeli Music Academy at the Tel-Aviv University as a professional Opera singer , was craving to sing rock , and so the band's gothic, or rather, operatic influence was etched. The second pivotal band member is Raz Klinghoffer, who was the original founder of the project that later became Karma Noir. With his background in sound and production, a vision, and Kathy's musical input they sculpted the band's sound. About the time Kathy came onboard, the band's MC Dror Shem-Tov (AKA Headwound) joined too, bringing along his 'kewl' attitude and his newfound rapping ability.
All songs were written and produced during 2006/7.
The album was produced, recorded and mixed in Nyquist Studio, near Tel Aviv, by Raz Klinghoffer. The songs: "RA", "Let yourself be" were co-produced by Kathy Ben Haroush.
The band's debut album "Sick In My Way" is available on the internet on www.myspace.com/karmanoirband.

| Re: My band cd Posh, you can start calling the shots when YOU are in a band that sound exactly like Evanescence WITH RAPPING. FROM ISRAEL. Also, check those brilliant pictures in the "Band Members" section. Tears of joy, here. I think you'll find that you, me and everyone else on this lowly web forum will just be stepping the fuck in line and letting these amazing bastards post as many self-promotional threads as they damn well please. Generecism perfected into a fucking ARTFORM. |

| Re: My band cd Stagename...? You clearly don't know many folk from Israel. "Headwound" is basically like their equivalent of John. |
