| hate it when bands advertise on forums!
i'm in a band, and we've had our own forums where they got spam'd to hell by them damn porno/viagra promoters. it's the most annoying thing and i feel bad for the moderators who have to clean that crap up.
having said that, would it be hypocritical of me to advertise my band here? how else should i do it? i'm sure there are plenty of people here who are always on the lookout for a new good band, and i think plenty of you would enjoy our crap: http://www.myspace.com/abandinallhope
provided you don't go on forums to start arguments and slam people, in which case i'm sure you'll hate us instantly. warning: it's melodic ska/punk, catchy, offensive and happy! good quality too

You could have put a spam filter on your forum to stop the viagra/porn bots spamming you. Or you could ask nicely for a forum section here if you think it'll be used enough. | |
