Kids Return are from southern Englandshire, playing really nice emotional hardcore. Their Tongue Tied LP is one of, if not the best, thing I heard last year, and not just because mine came in a cannibalised inside out New Kids on the Block sleeve. If you enjoy the likes of What Price, Wonderland? or The Birds Are Spies, They Report to the Trees you'll love these chaps.
Kaddish are the lords of Scottish screamo: epic, intense and melodic in equal measure, and always fantastic live. Maybe one day they'll actually record this new record and we can all die happy.
You might also be familiar with Black Channels by now, but if not - they're ex-Allergo, current Mesa Verde, and generally pretty great. Ferocious new screamo a la Louise Cyphre.
