| The Specials - Reunion Tour 2008 " we're still trying to put dates together, but hopefully September/October time. We need to spend the summer rehearsing... I think it's taken me 30 years to realise we could do it really well." - Terry Hall speaking to the BBC.
I'm not totally convinced it'll happen yet, even though there were Specials teasers at Glastonbury last year, but I'll maybe get a request in for press & photo passes already just in case. |

| Re: The Specials - Reunion Tour 2008 I do fear that no matter what they manage rehearsing over summer that there will still be plenty ska covers bands that play The Specials songs better and put on a better gig performance these days than they'll be able to themselves. |

| Re: The Specials - Reunion Tour 2008 Aye, old men are not suited to being pop rock stars (except Bill Haley), there are some genres that just can cope with still playing the same stuff twenty/thirty years on but bouncy ska ska ska needs stupid amounts of youthful energy to do right.
Even I start to flag just on the dancefloor after a while if djBarry is in the mood...
In saying that, the last time I saw Bad Manners they were just the same as always... |
