| Re: The Cure - [13th Studio Album - Sept 2008] "Geffen Records confirmed it will be a double record, with a projected Spring 2008 release. Smith stated "What will probably happen is that a double album will come out like a limited edition, mixed by me. A single-disc version, which I assume will be primarily chosen by the label, might get mixed by someone else in order to have a different thing. There's a concern Cure fans will feel like they have to get both, but the fact is, I've agreed to sell the double version at a single-album price, because I feel that strongly about it"
Hmm.
Preview clip sounds hopeful.

| Re: The Cure - [13th Studio Album - Sept 2008] Wasn't too fond of the self titled album, but if it's half as good as Bloodflowers i'll be all over this.

| Re: The Cure - [13th Studio Album - Sept 2008] And now you know why.
Wiki also has this nugget:
"The song "A Boy I Never Knew" has been thrown around by Robert Smith as one of the most "depressing" songs he's ever made as it is supposedly about the son whom he never had. This song was played live on 21 October 2007. As of right now, "A Boy I Never Knew" is slated to appear on The Cure's thirteenth album."
Can't wait.
