| The BossHoss - Free Gig to AN members - Glasgow Barfly [21 May] FREE ENTRY - all you have to do is say your on the Altnation Guestlist. So if you free tonight and fancy a gig then pop along. Quote: | BossHoss is a band from Berlin which started in 2004 with Country & Western style cover versions of famous pop, rock and hip hop songs, for example"Hot in Here" by Nelly, "Toxic" by Britney Spears and "Hey Ya" by Outkast. They incorporate stereotypical American cowboy behavior into their act. They wear stetson hats, tank tops, large sunglasses, display whiskey bottles, and yell heehaw. The band refers to their music style as "Country Trash Punk Rock"

After it why not pop along to Easy at the Buff Club. |

| Re: TONIGHT - Boss Hoss - Free Gig to AN members - Glasgow Barfly Actually, no. The Bosshoss have been doing it for longer, and they do it better too. They just haven’t had the hype. They’ve played Glasgow a fair few times before, but haven’t built much of a UK following. They’re pretty well-known back home in Germany.

| Re: TONIGHT - Boss Hoss - Free Gig to AN members - Glasgow Barfly Free you don't get many chances to check out a band live in glasgow for free, never mind a touring band.
I'm going along after I send PR's out.

| Re: TONIGHT - Boss Hoss - Free Gig to AN members - Glasgow Barfly Attention all:
Myself, Ghostsuit, Pink Punk, Woolies, lirazel and poprock are better than you, because we were at this gig, and you weren't.
We had an amazing time, and you didn't.
To reiterate - if there was a podium for people who did not miss this and thus should not be kicking themselves, we would be atop it, and you would be scattered lifelessly around the base of said podium, bleeding out in a sea of inferiority.
That is all. |
