Jeff Buckley - Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk

This is a cracker of an album. Subtler than Grace, it’s a shame that it was never finished.

I think 'Vancouver' might be my favorite Jeff Buckley song...

(...I'm not going to elaborate either )

A subtle album doesn't necessarily need to contain any subtle songs.

The abandoned Tom Verlaine sessions on disc one are... alright, but the four track demos are mindblowing.

Re: Jeff Buckley - Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk

ok so what do you think he meant by subtler? i know it's a good album but i don't think it's anywhere near as powerful as grace. that's probably cause grace was the original and his entrance upon the scene blowing everyone away. still though, what song/songs on it are fit to be on grace?
