i wonder if that's for multiple copies of the same thing, they've done that before haven't they? so they leapfrog each other and while one gig is happening the set is already being built in the next city?

cos otherwise it really is an insane amount of stuff.

It's a pretty impressive stage (if a wee bit ugly).

quite clever from the point of view of crowd safety too* since it massively increases the area where people are at the closest point to the stage, to help prevent crushes

* unless it falls on them and squashes hundreds, of course.

The convex barrier shape helps greatly with that.. if there's a surge it helps to spread out the pressure instead of focusing it.

yeah, this seems to me like an extension of that.

i didn't spot the bridge til now - i presume they'll have to build a barrier INSIDE the outer ring as well, kinda facing backwards!

they're gonna have a pretty big bill for pit stewards aren't they!
