Pick a random page outta any volume of this series. They're all as bad as each other when played by Glasgow buskers. Particularly the ones in Ashton Lane.
You get the occasional good busker, but they don't stick around when all they get in this city is mothballs and used chewing gum in their cases. |

| Re: the best busking song? i've only busked once and it was sort of accidental. i got chatting to some buskers who were playing in st petersburg next to the Aurora, the ship that kinda started the October Revolution in 1917. anyhow, the drummer handed me his sticks and i played along to a few beatles songs. it was my 14th birthday, pretty surreal moment.
to answer the question though, i reckon something by oasis cos it's harder for yer average busker (there are good ones, but the average one isn't!) to fuck that up too badly.

| Re: the best busking song? Wonderwall is great, and rarely played by buskers, so it's a treat to hear it when out and about, even if it isn't being played so well. |

| Re: the best busking song? I remember a busker in Coatbridge just singing the chorus to Whiskey in the Jar, over and over again. Wonderful

| Re: the best busking song? Going back 10-12 years there was a busker in Glasgow who used to play Pink Floyd songs and he was amazing, couldn't sing worth a fuck but his guitar playing was unreal.
He plays with the Proclaimers now, there's hope for you yet Campestral. |
