I like a lot of 'Adore', as I'm sure you know. The boots I've heard from that tour are atrocious though. The old songs just don't work with anyone else on drums, no matter how shit-hot they are in their own field.

The 'Adore' stuff sounded better on the 'Machina' tour too. 'To Sheila' with Chamberlin on drums is epic as fuck.
What I meant though was I can't wait to hear Billy make a 'Smashing Pumpkins' record without Chamberlin. 'Adore' works because it's a deliberate left-turn into acoustic stuff and New Order-y shit so they sort of sidestepped the Chamberlin issue, which was a smart move. But if he tries to do a big RAWK! Smashing Pumpkins record without Jimmy... I genuinely can't wait to hear it, for shits and giggles. Hated everything about the last album besides the drumming as it is.
