“Meh.”
Avail played that show as well if I remember correctly, that was a good festival, if it happened nowadays its be sposered by Rockstar, Rise against and anti flag will be on it and the rest of the bands will have names taken from days of the week and months and the entire band wil have backwards bowlcuts.
“Meh.”
The interval between birth and death is fractal. Any given moment is infinitely deep and rich, and therefore one lifetime is quite enough for me.
Aye. Random Grandad too.
Actually, go back a few years earlier and look up Citizen Fish and Smog UK. They were great, but they’re auld men in comparison with the likes of Lightyear etc.

Habit by Citizen Fish is great, I preferred them to Subhumans, but I'm one of the few who like the Canadian Subhumans better than the UK one.
Citizen Fish were crusties, but the good kind. Just like Goober Patrol.

Kelly from No Comply is now doing Acoustic singer-songwriter stuff. Has some really good songs too.
I think it's The Hostiles who said from the stage when supporting the King Blues that they were Glasgow's "local ska band", and if you like ska music you should get behind them. I'm not that big a fan of ska music, so I can't comment.
Suicide Bid classed as ska? Or are they more reggae?
Are the Hostiles not from aberdeen
But I just remembered about Ex Cathedra
It's either The hostiles or the hijacks. One is glasgow, one is aberdeen, both are ska.
Hostiles are Aberdeen fo sure.
Can YOU step up to the plate?
hmm, just checked the myspaces. The Hijacks are from Aberdeen, The Hostiles are Ayr/Glasgow based. From the pictures, it was definitely the Hostiles that supported King Blues at Barfly, and thus, if you are from Glasgow, your local ska band.
Im not proud of where im from then.
