| Anyone in a band of the same genre/sound?..
Hi, I'm toni, and basically, Im the singer of a band called The Corleones..
and we've just hit the glasgow gig scene , with only a few gigs under our belt, (ivory blacks, barrowlands 2 .. etc) , and I dont really have a way to describe us apart from a kind of , Alternative Indie, with pop influences...
that sounds worse than we actually are in my opinion, if you'd like to listen to some of our shitquality recordings then please do.. http://www.myspace.com/thecorleonesglasgow .. basically Im looking to find bands of the same or similar sound/genre as us, as Im yet to find any at all..
just to basically have some contacts in the future for support's, gigs and general networking etc..

That description sounds pretty similar to the stuff I'm working on, depending on what you class as indie. If you class indie as the 80's/90's independent label bands like Carter USM, Pop Will Eat Itself, Jesus Jones, Blur, Jesus & Mary Chain, Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, The Wonder Stuff, Ned's Atomic Dustbin etc.. then we're similar. If you're meaning Coldplay, Snow Patrol and Keane then we aren't.
