| Re: amphetameanies news I used to feel real guilty (and worried) that my work would somehow detect my internet usage and I'd get hauled up in front of the boss for a bollocking....
however, its been about three years now since I had net at work, and I'm registered to about a dozen php boards of one sort or another (music, scooters, sci-fi, bored office worker biscuit discussion boards) and I'm still not sacked.
conclusion:
no-one's watching, and if they are, they're underpaid IT jockeys who are just as bad / just don't care. |

| Re: amphetameanies news Aye, I'd imagine that's generally the case most places; a year in the civil service though, where disciplinaries over email forwarding were the norm, has left me fairly paranoid, though.

I served you pints at the Garage at the damned show, I was the fruit from chevy and the chasers at the merchandise bar.
Kenny has a little lunch box, and alex wears 80's style aerobics lycra like sineeta under his suits, the meanees should cover matinee as the riff is a perfect horn riff |

| Re: amphetameanies news oh aye !
and I was the mildly drunk guy arguing with the ramones lookalike and his burd about how captain sensible has ALWAYS played big ridiculous guitar solos.....
matinees guitar rff sounds like brass riff cos it once was. but my lawyer advises me to leave it at that |

| Re: amphetameanies news Aye the fucker that looked like the vulture from the jungle book, who did the "lets pay £x to see the damned and then sit downstairs drinking vodka and soda water and not watch the band"
Not as the bad as the guy who played the puggie all night as well, or the 2 foreign folk who kept trying to buy southern comfort and realising they only had 3pence
I love working the garage

I remember how, back in my pre-legal drinking youth, I used to think that bar work looked like a really cool job.
How wrong I was. |

| Re: amphetameanies news It all depends on the bar
I just use the garage because i like free gigs, getting taken advantage of, being underpaid and general lack of sleep/social life
Anyone know of any work going? |

| Re: amphetameanies news GIG ! King Tuts Wah Wah Hut - Tuesday December 28th
and for support, well, its a festive gig, and I didn't think there could be too much ska, so I've asked edinburgh's Bombskare along, to do their big jumpy-about thing.
We also have those wee tykes The Cheats, cos they were good fun at Sleazies last time and all the meanies girls wanted to 'mother' them....
tickets from all the usual money-grabbing bastards, £6, which is bit of a price I know, but Tuts would have made it a tenner if we'd let them.
On the plus side, Dave in the Tuts office has promised that he'll get Buckfast behind the bar specially for the occasion. |
