good job I made up with the bouncers following my steamingly shambolic visit before christmas ... I turned up relatively sober two weeks after that, the guy at the door went "you! steamer !" and I went "who, me? what have I done?" and then he told me, and I blushed and turned to leave ...... and then he took pity and let me in....

nawwww..... I never even got past the front door that night..... quite rightly so, cos I was sideways.

that might have been Lindsey the trombonist though...... she was out on the town with the girls from her place of work (Ann Summers) quite a lot over Christmas..... and it sounds like her style to march into the Catty and demand to hear her own records played

next meanies gigs _

Edinburgh - sat 29th January - at Bannermans, down the Cowgate.
Probably £5, probably open about 8pm

Glasgow - sat 5th March - at Barfly, with Junkmans' Choir, who are launching their album that night.

and maybe, before then, we might be doing a disaster charity thing up the Art School, wed February 9th, but that's all a bit vague still.

aye, our single has been getting some quality radio attention from BBC Scotland !

Mark 'the 50s' Lamarr has played it on the national BBC a couple of times too.

Thanks to that, we are suddenly getting phonecalls to go play in London..... but, of course, London is full of wanks, so we aren't rushing into anything without some guarantees that it will be worth the 400-mile trek.

anyway, that tsunami charity thing - Blitzkrieg Bop - is happening, next week, wednesday 9th February, up at the art school — and here is the website .... The Bop
