| amphetameanies news 'meanies had a live session broadcast on t'radio a week ago....
the three tracks are now available on the BBC radio website
and sound, more or less, like a plane full of monkeys playing a variety of household appliances whilst accelerating towards take-off.
enjoy !
next meanies gig, King Tuts December 28th. |

| Re: amphetameanies news ha !
meanies millennium hogmanay show was a one-off ...... tuts couldn'y pay me enough to do all that organising again, on the night when everyone else in the country is getting blootered.
was a total nightmare.
this 28th do should be cool, though, if folk can be arsed going out on a Tuesday nite.
I did enjoy shaving all those heads at the hogmanay show — I wonder if we should reintroduce the concept of 'new year, new haircut'..... |

| Re: amphetameanies news Heard your new EP, really liked it, I'll check the live tracks out when I get back home.
Are Franz Ferdinand still gonna be covering "This Boy" on their new album? Someone mentioned that to me once. |

| Re: amphetameanies news well, the buggers have been playing it live recently, so as far as I know, aye......
trouble is, once that's out, as far as the wider world knows, when we play 'this boy' it'll be the meanies doing a Franz cover, not the other way round.
Can't really complain though - better to hear someone else play a meanies song on top of the pops than not have a song on top of the pops at all, y'know ? |
