Could anyone tell me good Oi bands? Seem quite intersted as it influenced early Black Metal.

I'm not sure that Oi bands had much influence on Black Metal, but you'll find good info, reviews, band links etc. here:

It's amazing, you can listen for hours and not hear one bad track... 'cause they know the score and don't feature any kiddy pop-punk, emo/screamo or bad metal masquerading as hardcore type shit in their playlists.

There are no good Oi! bands, although Angelic Upstarts are at least tolerable.

If I wanted Skrewdriver, I'd talk to my mate cheers. Plus do you know that I support Vargs views and what White Nationalist punk think? I dont. Why make assumptions?

I heard an Agnostic Front an The Exploited track the day, plus like the early Bathory was inspired by Oi (which Quorthon said) an it got us interested.

I wouldn't pay much attention to this guy anyway. Since he joined he's been running his mouth, talking quite alot of pish and thinks his opinion is the dogs bollocks.

Neither Aggy Front nor The Exploited are Oi!, but they are quite good bands all the same. You might be more interested in heavier punk and old-school hardcore bands, although I don't think they had much of an influence on black metal.

What Agnostic Front and Exploited tracks did you hear? AF haven't recorded 2 albums which sound the same so it'll give me a better idea of what to recommend if you say which track it was. Neither band are what you'd call OI BTW.

Pipe down, corpsepaint, no-one is doing any such thing. The only person who insinuated that they were linking anything to "National Socialism" in this thread was oopemoscreamo saying that Warlord listens to "bullshit metal" with "dodgy beliefs". Given the Burzum logo beneath each of Warlord's posts, I would hardly say that this is an inaccurate thing to say, nor would I particularly agree that oopemoscreamo is making a sweeping statement about the beliefs of all Black Metal bands. They're only making a statement about the beliefs of Burzum, saying that they are dodgy ones, which is pretty correct as far as I'm concerned.

Ohh and I also said that Div has 14-year-old "Nazi" pals, which is just true! Well, kind of.

Coming from a Punk background, i fucking hate OI for the most part, my boys in UF and Splinter are the execptions, But black metal has had far more of an influence on my song writing as Oi could ever dream of having.

not like anyone cares, just thought id put my close minded views in the mix.

In a true study of black metal art, a student does not take to the path of Nationalism. Pure soul-destruction and Satanic worship are the only concerns of a student. We are more concerned about painting our bedrooms black and covering our windows in the light hours of the summer months to enhance our mindstate for meditation and thought for a true devotion to black metal art. We would rather walk the bleak, infernal path of darkness to the Abyss where we may torture our souls in complete solitude and collect our "badge of abyss" for black camp. >:[
