| punk/ska and THE UPSTARTS! (Here is sum ska 2 cheer u up Glasgow) Hey, after reading the punk/ska and wotever thread i decided to post the news about THE UPSTARTS who are Aberdeens finest ska/punk band and are just away on tour around Scotland..They will be dropping in on Glasgow to play the Rockers on Tue 23rd Aug! http://www.upstarts.t83.net
If you havent heard them b4 they play fast, upbeat, melodic ska punk with a political twist and have supported the likes of Capdown, Jesse James, Whitmore, Graveltrap, No Comply, Caffeine, King Prawn and Douglas.
You can listen to sum old mp3s online at http://www.myspace.com/theeupstarts or http://www.purevolume.com/upstarts but 2 fully appreciate The Upstarts u need 2 see their new (all ska) energetic Live Show!
Thanks a lot

Tommy, we thought about Angelic Upstarts, but 2 be honest ure the first one to bring it up in 4 years of playin 2gether so its not hindered us yet.. There not a direct influence on us so theres not much similarity apart from the name, anyway cheers for the comment.
