It's just jaw dropping track after jaw dropping track. I almost came listening to it. However I gotta say that Dropout is superior, which was pretty hard to live upto anyway. Stand out track is clearly Gold Digger....or maybe Touch The Sky.......or maybe Diamonds From Sierra Leone.

I dunno, it was far from excellent. Dragged alot in places, too many skits (again), and not a touch on "College Dropout"...but "Gone" is one of the best damn songs of this year!!!

I'm totally indifferent towards Kanye West, I really don't know what to think of him.

I can't ever imagine actually buying one of his albums, though.

I think he's absolutely brilliant, although I think some of his success could be down to 50 Cent. Like, becuase 50's so bad then people want to hear something fresh, enter Kanye.

I don't think that's the case at all. Rap has had "hard" and "soft" artists for years, Kanye West had a lot of talent, charisma, and is marketable (also being signed to the ROC helps), that's why he's a big success!

The new Kayne album is fantastic.Best hip hop record i've heard in years.I love the samples he uses I recongnised a lot of them and it wasn't till i looked through the booklet that I realised what songs they were.The man makes far more intelliegent rap than most other commercial artists a la 50 Cent.
